I thought i would take my son aged 12 and dog to the Grand Pier at Weston, so we could see how it had changed since the great fire. i managed to park on the main road, next to the residential homes and BnB's, which was just as well because the parking chage on the sea front was £7 a day. WebHi Kerryamanda. You can take your dog on the part of the main beach between the pier and Knightstone Island. it is the stretch in front of the Winter Gardens. It does have some families on it so you would be required to pick up any mess. The rest of the beaches are out of bounds to dogs during the summer months. We often take our dog there.
